Hello, and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Jaiden, and I’ve been playing softball since I was 12. From the moment I stepped onto the field, I knew this was the sport for me. While I may not have as many years of experience as some of my peers, I make up for it with dedication, drive, and a relentless work ethic. I’m the type of player who shows up an hour early and leaves an hour late—always looking for ways to improve and push myself beyond my limits.
I started out playing outfield, but in recent years, I’ve transitioned to the infield, focusing on shortstop and second base, which are now my primary positions. I have a strong understanding of the rotation of all positions and am comfortable playing wherever my team needs me. As a quick and strong fielder, I’m always ready to get to the ball fast, whether it’s fielding grounders or tracking down fly balls.
In 2024, as a freshman, I was honored to start at shortstop for the JV team, where I gained valuable experience and grew my confidence. Later that year, I was given the chance to play with the Varsity team during districts, starting as an outfielder and batting #6.
Currently, I’m homeschooled, which has given me the opportunity to explore life skills that aren’t typically taught in school, such as stocks, investments, taxes, and loans. I’m working to build a future where I can make informed, confident decisions. When I did attend traditional school, I was an honors student, maintained a strong GPA, and was placed in AP English and AP Math.
Outside of playing, I’m passionate about coaching. I’ve been helping my dad coach his 10U softball team for a year and assist with his Park and Rec teams every season. Teaching young players the fundamentals of the game has allowed me to develop valuable coaching skills, and I love seeing the excitement and growth in the girls I work with.
Looking ahead, I’m interested in studying Kinesiology or Athletic Training in college, with a long-term goal of continuing to be involved in sports and coaching. I’m looking for a college that will challenge me as both an athlete and a student, where I can grow and continue to strive for excellence—both on and off the field—while glorifying God in everything I do.
Thank you again for taking the time to read my bio. I look forward to connecting with you!
Best,
Jaiden
